Opt-Out

If you do not wish to participate in Central Falls Community Electricity, please complete the secure online form below to opt out.

If you received a notification letter from Central Falls Community Electricity and submit your opt-out request by the opt-out deadline in your letter, you will not be enrolled. If you are currently enrolled in Central Falls Community Electricity, you will be removed from the program going forward. Please note that it may take up to two billing cycles for your opt-out to be reflected on your Rhode Island Energy bill, depending on your meter read date.

There are no penalties or fees associated with opting out. Once you have opted out, your supply will revert back to Rhode Island Energy Last Resort Service on the next available meter read date for your account.

Note: you may re-join Central Falls Community Electricity at a later date, however, the supplier may offer you a price that reflects market conditions, rather than the price shown on this website. 

Your account number may range from 7-10 digits. Please accurately enter your account number without spaces or hyphens. For accounts less than 10 digits, please enter zeros BEFORE the account number, to equal 10 digits (Example, for account number 1234567, please enter 0001234567)
The account code is listed in CAPITAL LETTERS and is typically the first four letters of the last name on the account (for Residential accounts) or the first four letters of the company name (for Commercial or Industrial accounts). You may find it on the upper lefthand corner of Page 2 of your Rhode Island Energy bill under Enrollment Information and to the right of the Cycle number.

Please Note:

1) Opt-Out requests cannot be processed for Incorrect account numbers, or account numbers provided in an incorrect format. Please review your confirmation email and call (877) 200-8620 with any questions.

2) If you submitted multiple enrollment and opt-out requests for the same account using this web form, only the most recent request received will be processed. If you believe you have submitted a request in error, please call (877) 200-8620.

3) As stated above, if you are currently enrolled in Central Falls Community Electricity, your request will take effect in one to two billing cycles.
